Tallest Wall: 60 feet

Unique Features: The 60ft wall is one of the tallest walls in the areas, and it presents a fun challenge for rope climbers. This wall requires lots of endurance and is a great training tool.

Personal Rating: I give this gym a V8 rating.

I don’t get to visit this gym often, but I love the unique challenge of the 60ft top rope and lead walls. The setting is excellent for the bouldering areas with a balanced mix of climbs that each tend to focus on specific techniques. My biggest critiques would be that the bouldering sections can get cramped during peak hours, which can make it difficult to find a safe place to rest in between attempts, and that the gym requires all rope climbers to use Grigri devices. I’m assuming that the gym requires Grigri belay devices due to safety or liability reasons (especially on the taller walls) which really isn’t something that I can critique them too much for, however I personally find the Grigri frustrating to use and would prefer to use my ATC.

Overall, I love this gym and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to increase their endurance on top rope or lead, or looking for a refreshing change of pace for bouldering with a wide variety of movements.
